Well, this winter just will not stop.  We had snow last week and it is still on the ground.  The days are cold and cloudy.  Where do I live?  I am so confused by this weather.  The good news is this is the worst winter in 20 years, so hopefully the next 19 will be mild.

Tonight was the Grammy’s salute to the Beatles.  It was wonderful but nothing shows the age difference between Randy and I like the music of our youth.  When the Beatles played the Ed Sullivan show, I was in second grade and Randy was a teenager!  One great thing is that Randy knows every word of every song, the history behind the song and what album it is was on.  I, on the other hand, hated second grade!  You can read that post here.  Looking at the date on that report card, I guess I was in first grade instead of second when the Beatles landed in the USA.  Well, details are not my strong suit!

My thoughts on music seem to be more random.  I was the girl that wanted “Send in the Clowns” at my wedding!  Remember how it ends?  “Don’t bother, they’re here!”.  Yep, music definitely is not what keeps Randy and I together.

Thirdly, James and I are making boots!  Brown boots to be exact.  I have some pics below for your perusal.  James is a natural on the sewing machine.  Sat right down, sewed leather like a pro!  Might have to hire him.

Well, thinking about the nuns in second grade has stressed me out.  Hope I can sleep tonight!

Here are the pictures of the latest snowstorm and some of boot making.  Enjoy, talk soon and let me know how you are surviving winter!
