One of the many skills that my dad taught my children was how to shop for groceries and then cook them up. My son, James, is spending some time with us right now. Last night he decided to make jalepeno poppers to savor during the Thunder game. Let me tell you, these were delicious! He did not use a recipe per se, just kind of winged it. He made two different fillings, one cream cheese and one cream cheese with sausage. I have to tell you, they were delicious and it warmed my heart that he made these for our dinner! I loved these poppers and was thrilled to turn the kitchen over to James. I appreciate that Papa Willett taught him to cook! Nothing better than watching a guy in the kitchen.
