Well we are going to waltz, quickly, around the gorgeous autumn in the Ozarks.  Randy and I had a very busy month, but we spent a good bit of time just soaking up the colors and vistas.  First up, we spent Randy’s fall break, from classes, at Big Cedar Lodge.  We had not been there since our “homeless” time last summer.  My sisters came to join us for two days!  We ate, we laughed, we hiked and we had a wonderful time.  I think the pictures will give you a sense of how lovely it was:

Roses in October

We spent a day hiking around Dogwood Canyon.  There are over 10,000 acres in the park, but suffice it to say, we probably hiked less than that!  Again, the weather was ideal and the scenery was just mesmerizing.  We have been to Dogwood Canyon several times, but this October visit was perfect.

Randy really was on this trip and I snapped a cute picture of him:

The pumpkin theme was also in evidence on the mantel of the office:

As October came to a close, we were able to get some great shots of Fayetteville.  Take a look:

We also took a quick drive to Van Buren just for the heck of it.  I grabbed this shot from that trip:

I am ready to stay put for a bit.  We had so much fun this fall, but it is now time to get the studio up and running!

So, how was your October?  I hope it was glorious.
